Thousands of POC Suffer Undiagnosed Skin Cancer 

People of Colour in their thousands are suffering undiagnosed Melanoma. There is a clear lack of guidance from within the medical field, regarding symptoms and awareness.

It is time to question whether there is a systematic problem within the medical field, when people of colour across the UK are being ignored in skin cancer awareness discussions. Advertising lacks significant imagery and information on how POC can check for melanomas, when obvious visuals and symptoms are provided for those with lighter skin tones. Influence PR aim to provide information and support to victims of such educational deficits, from communities for cancer survivors, to advice on simple and routine checks, vital to all people of colour. Awareness against undiagnosis and misdiagnosis is essential in solving this critical call for inclusive action.
